Salt sculpture for Eufònic 2025
Eufònic—a festival dedicated to sound, visual and digital performative arts, held in Terres de l’Ebre— produces some of the region’s most distinctive artistic proposals. For this reason, they have chosen to work with us in this year’s edition to create a salt-based artistic intervention.
Titled ‘Geometries of Salt – Traces of an Economy in Motion’, our salt sculpture for Eufònic 2025 has been exhibited at the Antigues Salines de Sant Antoni, within MónNatura Delta, a site run by Catalunya La Pedrera Foundation.
For the sculpture, we used salt from the salt flats of La Ràpita to reflect, through a contemporary lens, on the transition between land and lagoon, the contrast between permanence and temporality in a place so fragile yet to essential to the salt production.
